20 minute video by The Streets set to break record.

The Streets are about to enter the record books by making a 20 minute music video which will become the longest ever music video.

The video for an untitled track is expected to beat Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' which lasted 13 minutes.

The video, which was directed by Alistair Siddons of Mystery Jets, is set to be aired on the 1st August 2006.

The video includes footage by 5 MTV viewers who where each given a video camera and to shoot whatever they liked. The video was made to celebrate MTV's 25th Birthday!

Mike Skinner used the footage to inspire the new track.

"I have been blown away by creativity and imaginations of the young people involved," he said. "We have watched hours of videos in order to find the most interesting and intriguing content for this epic work."

The various footage shot includes a week on the trail of Glasgow's Strathclyde Police, a spoof about cheerleading and an investigation of Bigfoot.
