Whatever kind of music you're making - from Bangra to hip-hop, jazz to mashups - if you think you've got what it takes and you think other people will like your sound, fill in the form on the next page and send your track on CD or email it as an mpeg3 file. You can also send a photo and some background info.

We'll feature it on our music site, where our audience can listen to your track. If they like what they hear they can vote for it.

Each month the best new tracks received will be entered into the competition. In the final vote we're looking for the top ten tracks. These top ten tracks will feature on a free compilation CD. The track considered to have the most commercial potential by EMI could be released online. The winning track will feature as the number one track on the free CD.

This competition is supported by music giant EMI. EMI will issue and promote an on-line compilation of those tracks they think have the greatest chance of making it big time.
